Nominum, a global provider of ENUM-based IP-Application Routing Directory, DNS, and DHCP solutions, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead for an immediate full-time staff position in Redwood City, California

This person will be part of Nominum’s quality assurance team and will be responsible for testing and quality assurance.  Successful candidates will relish working in an extremely dynamic environment with competing priorities, and one in which they operate with a high degree of autonomy. Applicants with knowledge of Internet architecture and protocols, especially DNS, DHCP, SIP and/or IP telephony, are strongly preferred.  However, this is a position in which the ability to grasp new technology is a must, and the ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of keeping up with ongoing innovation.

Responsibilities:

•  Perform manual and automation testing of Nominum software;
•  Plan, schedule and coordinate offshore QA team tasks and activities;
•  Create product test strategies and schedule test activities;
•  Create test automation strategies, create test scripts and validation of automation test suites;
•  Create test plans and test cases for ENUM/DNS, SIP interface, EMS and services of the product;
•  Perform performance, benchmarking and solution testing for Navitas;
•  Assist QA Manager in planning for product release schedules and resources planning;
